SMC Global Securities Limited on Thursday intimated the stock exchanges that its board’s Non-Convertible Debenture Committee has approved an early closure of its ongoing public NCD issue, shutting subscriptions on October 9, 2026 — a full week ahead of the originally scheduled closing date of October 16, 2026.

The company had launched the issue under a prospectus dated September 28, 2026, offering Secured, Rated, Listed, Redeemable, Non-Convertible Debentures with a face value of ₹1,000 each. The base issue size was ₹7,500 lakh, with a Green Shoe Option to retain oversubscription of an equal amount, bringing the total issue limit to ₹15,000 lakh covering up to 15,00,000 NCDs. The early closure decision, passed via board resolution on October 8, 2026

On the equity side, SMC Global’s shares were trading at ₹108.73 on the NSE at 3.07 PM on Thursday, down 1.37 per cent from the previous close of ₹110.24. The stock, which hit a 52-week high of ₹120 two days earlier on October 6, has delivered returns of over 53 per cent in the past year against the Nifty 50’s decline of around 11 per cent in the same period.
